Our drive

The foundation was established with the death of our founder Harald Wilkesmann, founder of the WiCAM group of companies.

The idea to found WiCAM GmbH came to him during his studies, which he paid for himself with hard work. Already during his lifetime it was a matter of the heart to help other people who had to cope with similar challenges as he did.

With his death in 2017, he decided that a part of WiCAM GmbH should be transferred to a foundation for the promotion and research of software in the high-tech segment.
